Vintage hand-knit inspired, this knit is cosy, cup-of-tea-in-a-china-cup, roaring fireplace and comfy chair rolled into one. Knit in a luxurious weight this cardigan is to be slung on in the depth of winter to keep the draughts and chill out, with scalloped-finished hems and cuffs you will be as warm as the sheep intended. 

This is Herd’s inaugural piece in their Elswick Collection of simple, supersoft jersey knits with their signature elevated touches – a scalloped edge, a chunky rib, blouson sleeves and lace detailing on the pocket.

A longer knit, for absolute comfort.

Wear with long dresses, or a tee (roll up the sleeves to dial up the casual) and pair with jeans and boots for all weekend long. 

Detail – The Elswick Cardigan has raglan shoulders, a blouson sleeve and sweetly scalloped edge on the hem and cuffs. 

Wool – The Elswick Cardigan is made from Herd Wool – sustainable soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool grown and made in NW England according to Fibreshed principles. It has been washed only in water and organic detergents, so is fully circular.  

Washing – Hand wash in cool water if needed. 

Size & fit – The Elswick Cardigan has an oversized fit.

Large (UK14-16): Length 62.5 / Chest 63 / Sleeve 74.5
